Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly post that highlights books we are excited to read hosted by Jill from Breaking The Spine. Title: Take A Bow Author: Elizabeth Eulberg Synopsis: From the fantastic author of The Lonely Hearts Club and Prom & Prejudice comes a story of all the drama and comedy of four friends who grow into themselves at a performing arts high school. Emme, Sophie, Ethan, and Carter are seniors at a performing arts school, getting ready for their Senior Showcase recital, where the pressure is on to appeal to colleges, dance academies, and professionals in show business. For Sophie, a singer, it's been great to be friends with Emme, who composes songs for her, and to date Carter, soap opera heartthrob who gets plenty of press coverage. Emme and Ethan have been in a band together through all four years of school, but wonder if they could be more than just friends and bandmates. Carter has been acting since he was a baby, and isn't sure how to admit
After going on a shopping spree with my friend the other day, I realized I need to seriously go book shopping. Soon. I could live at Barnes & Noble. No lie. That would be the best house ever. (= Anyway, In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. Here is what I got this week: The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter *SIGNED* What did you guys get this week? (Because Blogger isn't working for me, I sadly can't post cover images... Depressing... I know.)
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews . It's all about sharing books you've added to your shelves be it physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a physical store, or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks. This week, I've added five books to my shelf! The first two books were given to me by a coworker after she saw how much I read during my lunch break! Both are more outside of my typical realm of books, so I'm excited to give them a try! The last three I received from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. The Home Front was released on January 26, 2021, Playing with Fire was released on January 19, 2021 and The Woman with the Blue Star is set to be released in May 2021.
You got some great books this week! Hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteAwesome haul! I LOVED Wither and I can't wait to finish reading Fever. I absolutely can't wait to read The List. It sounds pretty good. :)
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I'm really drawn to the cover of Absolutely Mabye! Probably the awesome hair of the cover model.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! New follower by the way.
